Lecturer in human nutrition at UNIVERSITY COLLEGE BIRMINGHAM

Salary: £34,304 – £38,587

UCB is looking for an exceptional individual who can contribute to the teaching of human nutrition and nutrition-related disease modules across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the University.

The candidate must be competent to teach at least three of the following subjects:

  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Modulation of disease by dietary change
  • Nutrition Journalism
  • Nutrition communication
  • Research methodology, methods and design

The successful candidate will have a background in teaching or training, supported by the ability to contextualize teaching to the nutrition and/or public health sector. You will be an excellent communicator, master the use of computers and work well within a dedicated team.

We are looking for the successful candidate to have a flexible approach to work; willingness to undertake academic activities in the evenings if necessary and to participate in occasional weekend activities such as recruitment days.
